ALPHABET APOCRYPHA

ALPHABET APOCRYPHA, the webcomic formerly known as Alphabet Horror Vacui, is written and illustrated by Nathan O. Marsh. Framed in a traditional children's book format, it is lovingly illustrated, densely alliterative satire appropriate for all audiences of good humor. Nathan currently lives in Savannah, Georgia. ALPHABET APOCRYPHA was a 2011 Ignatz Nominee for Outstanding Online Comic at the Small Press Expo (under its former name).

ALPHABET APOCRYPHA runs on an irregular update schedule. Usually one letter is completed over the course of a month. News and updates on progress are posted to my blog.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Do you do commissions?
A: Yes. Send me an e-mail for details or visit my illustration portfolio.

Q: Can I purchase your artwork?
A: Yes. Print are available through my online store. For original artwork, please inquire by e-mail.

Q: Why did you use a word that doesn't start with the specified letter? I am bent out of shape by this website's cavalier attitude towards its own rules.
A: I need my conjunctions and articles, so deal with it.

Q: How do you make these pictures? How long does it take you?
A: I use a crowquill on watercolor paper and then paint over that with watercolor. Sometimes I make mistakes and I have to fix them with photoshop. As for the amount of time it takes, maybe forty hours? I don't know. I sort of sit down and get in the zone and work all day.

Q: I found a typo.
A: Goddamnit.
